Case Study One:
Company Name: Ares Orthotics
Industry: Manufacturing
Client Needs: Ares Orthotics like most manufacturers, were receiving the majority of their orders via fax. This necessitated a callback to the client to clarify smudges, as custom Orthotics are extremely detailed. The Online Ordering System was developed to minimize miscommunication, provide auto-verification to the client that the order was received and the date it would be ready, as well as allow Ares to track where the order was in production.
This initial module was then added to, with the implementation of an accounting and shipping component to the back end of the system. This auto entered all orders into the accounting system, creating invoices, packing slips and mailing labels all with the click of a button.

Overview of Administrative Functionality:
This Robust system is the definition of business automation. Orders entered in via the customer are auto assigned to production and entered into the invoicing system.
The Administrator can get updated on production at the click of a button by viewing reports on Orders in Production and Shipped Orders. All clients are automatically emailed when their Orthotics ship, and customers received order confirmations as soon as they complete their order.
All the accounting functionality that any business would need was also built. Add Payments, View Account Receivable Reports, change Gst and update pricing are all included options.
Internal and External Users are added and deleted at the touch of a button, enabling Ares to add employee access and clients with ease.
Overview of User side Functionality: This ultra easy to use interface divides the overwhelming amount of detail into 6 ordering steps, with the user progress measured at each step. Default answers are placed where possible to make ordering a breeze.
Conclusion:
This system saves Ares Orthotics 20 hours a week on invoicing and is a major selling feature for their clients.
