Client Needs: Riteway Signs manufactures and installs For Sale Signs for most of the real estate brokerages in Calgary. Each brokerage has at least 25 realtors with approx. 5 listings each and managing all orders on paper was becoming overwhelming. This Custom Software Application automated the sign management process via an online portal accessible through their website creating one place to access all the day-to-day information.
Overview of Project:
We created a flexible system where either the realtor of their assistant could order signs up, down or fixed via the convenient online portal. This system has approx. 1000 users and over 10,000 records accessed daily and completely replaced their paper system.
Overview of User side:
The Sign Management system is accessible through the Riteway website, where either the realtor, or the administrative assistant at the Brokerage could order new signs up or request signs down or fixed. The system also stores a list of the signs currently up, ordered down and all realtors with access to the system.
Overview of Administrative Side:
This custom software application completely automated the ordering process for Riteway signs, instead of receiving upwards of 75 faxes daily, he now has the flexibility to receive orders anywhere there is an internet connection. In addition reporting features easily enable future data analysis
Conclusion:
This system streamlined their production and optimized their efficiency by an estimated 50% and significantly increased their capabilities for growth.
