Education

Final Project

The final project done was a REMOTE MONITORING AGENT purely based on monitoring the servers based on remote places. The main requirements of this project are:

• Display the running services of the remote server.
• Start/stop/restart the services of the remote server.
• Display the event log of the remote server.
• Monitor the assigned services of the remote servers by using a spy running on those servers that will continuously monitor the services on the servers and mail the network administrator on finding the service down. These services can be FTP, HTTP and DNS etc.
• Reboot the remote server on having some problem or deadlock.

• Simulation of Operating System Scheduling Policies using C++ Graphics.

• Peer to Peer Printer

         In this project the task was to design a way to enable the several systems connected through internet to send files to a common printer or set of printers from a remote location by uploading that file to a printing server after converting it to portable document format (PDF). Then the receiver working in the form of a windows service will receive the file and print the file after saving it on the receiver system.

Distinctions

• Got 85% marks in my final M.Sc. Project, details of project mentioned in the CV earlier.

Experience

• 3 months as Application / Web Developer using C#, PHP, ASP.NET with ---------, Islamabad.
• 6 Months job experience in dot Net with C# with Asp.net web applications as well as in desktop applications in software pattern Islamabad
• 6 Months Internship in Machine Solutions Rawalpindi for my final M.Sc. project.

Projects

• Working on PREB RFQ INTERNAL real estate sales/rental website using PHP, mySQL.
• Working for automation of Ck Migration web questionnaire for study/business visas to Australia. Using PHP, MySQL.
• Working on CD based application of frameworks to automate the product ordering system using C#, MS Access database.
• Worked on Panama at your service sales and rental website using PHP, MySQL.
• Living Room Genie a shopping cart for the Fuji Color Services. An application designed specifically for Windows XP Media Center developed in Asp.net and MCML (Media Center Markup Language). It also used some web services for the prices of different products offered by the Fuji color. This application can also be controlled by a remote control provided with the Windows XP Media Center. The Remote Control functionality scripts were also developed for this project. This application is not a web based application though it was developed in Asp.net as it is run on client’s computer and the client has to install the living room genie on its machine and then the normal media center interface of the windows XP media center will show the interface of the application.
• Script Editor for a scripting language (Parse O Matic) developed in Visual studio 2005 with the following features like auto complete (Intellicense), Color Coding for reserved words and functions and showing the list of parameter list for the functions.
• SEO project with the following features like finding the Google page Rank, Alexa page Rank, Google back links. MSN and yahoo back links, WHOIS, technocratic page rank developed in ASP.NET using web services.
•  Property Management System for REI Property builder a web based application developed in Asp.Net with C# a project specifically designed for the management of properties like buildings and their management.
• PhotoShop project developed for the Software pattern their product can be called as the replicate of the living room genie but designed for windows XP not for Windows XP media Center developed in ASP.net with C# with java script and vb script with the following features
• A user can upload photos in the folders created by him on the server manage those folders make those folders public private and friend in order to make them available for other user of the site or to restrict them to view the folder. Invite another user to become his friend by sending him an email. View the pictures in thumbnails and in tiles and can also print these pictures according to the size of its choice.

Research & Development

During Internship in Advanced Communications, I worked on an emerging technology of Java named as JAIN (java Advanced Intelligent Network),
Concerned purely with intelligent network and Soft-switches. The motive is to develop a way to standardize the currently working RADIUS server so as to make it compatible with all the soft switches available in the software industry.
